2007 Southeast Asian Games
The 2007 Southeast Asian Games were the second Southeast Asian Games to feature baseball; the baseball portion was held December 7 to December 14.
It came down to host Thailand and defending champion Philippines. In the first four games, Thailand had outscored opponents 62-2 while going 4-0 and the Philippines were also 4-0 with a 52-1 run differential. In the finale, Thailand edged the Philippines 5-4 for the Gold.
Indonesia got the Bronze, going 3-2. They lost by only a run, 1-0, to the Philippines.
Myanmar was 4th at 2-3 with a 31-22 run differential.
Malaysia was 5th at 1-4, getting outscored 113-13, with their only win coming 11-7 over Cambodia.
Cambodia went 0-5 and was outscored 88-8, 7 of those runs coming against Malaysia.
