Biographical Information[edit]

Andospa Aldo Saputra helped the Indonesian national team win Bronze in the 2005 Southeast Asian Games then repeat in the 2007 Southeast Asian Games. He was an outfielder for them in the 2015 Asian Championship. He was 3 for 14 with 3 strikeouts. In the field, he had 8 putouts, an assist and three errors. He tied Rizki Ramadhan and Chindy Patria Yudharana for the team lead in hits. He and Otto Wahyu Minarto had the only hits off Japan's Yuki Sameshima and Taisuke Kondo. He also played softball for Indonesia in the 2015 Southeast Asian Games. In the 2018 Asian Games, he hit .333/.308/.333 while playing SS, 2B, 3B, RF and DH for Indonesia. He had one run and two RBI in five games and stole two bases in two tries, while fielding .778. He was second among the team's starters in average, behind Diva Reza Fabil, though backup Faldy Akhmad Zulfikar had more hits in fewer at-bats. He tied for second on the team in RBI, one behind Hakeem Rahniady Putra Ady. Among shortstops in the Games, only Phoomwut Wutthikorn.
