2005 Southeast Asian Games
The 2005 Southeast Asian Games were the 23rd Southeast Asian Games but the first to include baseball. The baseball portion was held November 28 to December 4 in Manila.
Host Philippines cruised to victory, outscoring opponents 103-6, with 5 of the runs allowed coming in one game (11-5 over Indonesia). Three of their six wins were by no-hitter as Joseph Orillana an Roy Baclay no-hit Malaysia, Ruel Batuto and Darwin dela Calzada no-hit Myanmar and Batuto and Charlie Labrador no-hit Myanmar in the semifinals.
Thailand was second at 4-2
Indonesia took the Bronze, going 3-3.
Myanmar was 1-5 to finish 4th but put up a fight in the Bronze Medal Game, falling 3-2.
Malaysia was outscored 6-89 in going 0-5.
