Biographical Information[edit]
Adi Susanto has played first base for the Indonesian national team, helping them win a spot at the 2009 Asian Championship (in which they finished last). He was named one of the "Best Players" in the first round of the event. He had previously played in the 2003 Asian Championship. He helped Indonesia to Bronze Medals in the 2005 Southeast Asian Games and 2007 Southeast Asian Games and Silver Medal in the 2011 Southeast Asian Games. In the 2015 Asian Championship, he went 1 for 12 with a walk and six whiffs while playing error-free ball at 1B (27 PO, 4 A). He was 1 for 11 in the 2018 East Asian Baseball Cup, his lone hit coming off Jon-Jon Robles to score Diva Reza Fabil in a loss to the Philippines.
In the 2018 Asian Games, he was Indonesia's second-oldest baseball player. He hit .250/.400/.250 with 3 runs and 2 RBI in 3 games, fielding .960 at 1B (which he split with Albefiandi Aiken Setiawan). He came up big in their first Asian Games win ever, with 2 runs and 2 RBI in a victory over Thailand.
