Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Suratit Faengsup was with the Thai national team for the 2010 Intercontinental Cup, playing one game and going 0 for 3 with a walk and a run but managing to steal three bases in three tries. He tied teammate Sudsawad Anukul for 3rd in the Cup in steals, behind Soo-bin Jung and Che-Hsuan Lin. He also played in the 2010 Asian Games. He was 0 for 4 with 3 strikeouts in the 2013 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers. He hit .286/.412/.571 with 5 RBI in 4 games in the 2018 East Asian Baseball Cup, with a 3-run homer against Hong Kong.

In the first round of the 2018 Asian Games, Thailand's leadoff man was 4 for 8 with a triple and four runs in two games as they blew past Laos and Sri Lanka to move to the main round. He tied Amila Pushpa Kumara Galbokka Hewage and Naruephol Muangkasem for 5th in the round in average and tied Joseph Daru, Muangkasem and Nalor Gniatou for 2nd in runs (one behind Galbooka Hewage). He did not do as well in the main round at .167/.250/.333 but drove in five in five games, thanks to four RBI in a 12-11 loss to Indonesia (with a 3-run shot off Hadi Nur Muhammad). He led Thailand in RBI, one ahead of Daru. He had six putouts in six chances.
