Biographical Information[edit]

Chih-Chieh Lee was a 4-time All-Star in the CPBL. His brother-in-law is Major League player Tzu-Wei Lin.

Lee was drafted by the Brother Elephants in the third round of the 2000 CPBL Draft, and he hit .327/.372/.460 in 2000. He was selected into the 2000 CPBL All-Star Game, and he was 1-for-2. Lee then recorded a .243/.347/.301 batting line in his first full season, and he attended the All-Star Game again; he was 3-for-4 with a double and 2 runs scored. In the 2001 Taiwan Series, Lee hit .118/.167/.118 and the Elephants still won the title as they beat the Sinon Bulls in 7 games.

The Pingtung native hit .250/.347/.368 in 2002, then he had a .247/.389/.370 batting line in 2003. He, Yi-Feng Kuo and Chin-Yong Wang became the first trio of local players to hit homers in 3 straight at-bats, and they did it on June 15 against the Chinatrust Whales. The Brothers won the Taiwan Series title in both years, but Lee didn't have a single at-bat in either Series. He was selected into the 2004 CPBL All-Star Game, and he was 0-for-1. Lee ended up hitting .256/.315/.379 in 2004 and .239/.319/.318 in 2005. He slumped to .173/.276/.293 in 2006, and he only hit .215/.273/.218 in 24 games in 2007. The Elephants released him after the 2007 season, and his professional career ended. Lee coached I-Shou University from 2018 to 2020, and he became the coach of Meiho High School in 2021.

Overall, Lee hit .250/.338/.350 with 322 hits, 54 doubles and 21 homers in 8 seasons in the CPBL.
