Biographical Information[edit]

Bo-mi Kim has pitched for the South Korean women's national team.

She debuted in the 2018 Women's Baseball World Cup. In her first game, she relieved Hee-jin Kim in the 4th with a 10-1 deficit against Venezuela, two on and two out. She got Maigleth Torres to hit into an inning-ending force. In the 5th, she got Astrid Rodriguez on a grounder. Freymar Suniaga singled buy Kim then retired Ingrid Escobar and Yurdtgreis Betancourt to end the frame. Ji-hye Lee took over. Her next game was not as good as she allowed four hits and three runs in an inning versus Team USA. She started against Puerto Rico but again allowed 3 runs, this time in a third of an inning; Nylah Ramirez got the win against her. [1]

The right-hander beat Ni Putu Radha Ananditha Putri and Indonesia in the 2023 Women's Baseball Asian Cup; she allowed four unearned runs in 6 2/3 IP in the event. She tied for 10th in IP and was 4th in ERA (Kana Onodera, Akino Tanaka and Ayami Sato were at 0.00 in 7 IP). [2] South Korea advanced to the 2023-2024 Women's Baseball World Cup. She took the loss against Sarah Pengelly and Canada. She led her team with 6 K and tied for 8th in Group A with Jamie Baum, Amy Johnson and Allison Steane. [3]
