2023-2024 Australian Baseball League

The 2023-2024 Australian Baseball League was the thirteenth season in the second incarnation of the Australian Baseball League. The loop shrank to six teams with the liquidation of Auckland Tuatara and the departure of Geelong-Korea.

The Adelaide Giants repeated as champions. The first game of the title was just like last year, a loss to the Perth Heat. It was a epic 4-hour, 10-minute, 13-inning contest, which Perth won 4-3. Tom Bailey got the win with three shutout innings of relief while Carlos Sanchez drove in the winner. The next game, Quincy Latimore hit a big two-run homer on his 35th birthday as Adelaide won, 6-3, to force a third game. Game 3 went to Adelaide, 3-1, as Briley Knight's two-run double in the 8th was the winning hit and Austin Ross got the win. Todd Van Steensel was named finals MVP with five strikeouts in three shutout innings of relief and two saves.

Adelaide had numerous league leaders. Nick Ward led in runs (40) and again led in hits (47, tied with Latimore). Latimore also tied teammates Rixon Wingrove and Josh Altmann for the most doubles (11), while Liam Spence led in OBP (.434). Lachlan Wells led in wins (6) and ERA (.94) while Van Steensel led with ten saves. For Perth, Sanchez led with three triples.

Brisbane's Alex Skepton led in slugging (.606) and OPS (1014) while Ryan Bollinger whiffed the most batters (68). Canberra's Cory Acton won the batting title at .333. Melbourne had several league leaders as Greg Bird led in homers (11), RBI (40) and total bases (76), Robbie Glendinning led in walks (30) and Aaron Whitefield stole the most bases (14).
