Biographical Information[edit]
Shayne Watson was 1 for 10 with two walks for the Queensland Rams in the 2005 Claxton Shield. He started for Queensland in the 2009-2010 Claxton Shield, hitting .242/.390/.290 and was 5th with 15 walks. When the Australian Baseball League was restarted in 2010-2011, he hit .209/.277/.233 for the Brisbane Bandits, splitting catching with Mitch Nilsson. He resurfaced briefly for Brisbane in 2015-2016, strictly as a defensive sub. He coached for the Australian national team in the 2019 Premier 12.
