The 1996 Korea Baseball Organization was the 15th Korea Baseball Organization season. The Haitai Tigers won their eight KBO title to maintain their dominance.

Awards[edit]

The KBO MVP was Hanwha Eagles pitcher Dae-sung Koo, who led the league in ERA (1.88), tied for the most wins (18) and also saved 24 games (two shy of the lead). The KBO Rookie of the Year was Hyundai Unicorns outfielder Jae-hong Park, who won the home run (30) and RBI (108) titles and became the first KBO player to go 30-30.

The following players won Gold Gloves, which in the KBO go to the best overall player at each position are not a defensive (only) award.
