2005 Korea Baseball Organization
The 2005 Korea Baseball Organization was the 24th KBO season. The Samsung Lions won their third Korean Series, this time under rookie skipper Dong-yol Son.
Awards[edit]
The KBO MVP was Min-han Son, a pitcher for the Lotte Giants, going 18-7 on a sub-.500 team. The KBO Rookie of the Year was Seung-hwan Oh, a Samsung Lions reliever who posted a 1.18 ERA.
The following players won Gold Gloves, which in the KBO go to the best overall player at each position are not a defensive (only) award.
