The Doosan Bears won the first Korea Baseball Organization title in 1982 and followed up with championships in 1995, 2001, 2015, 2016 and 2019. They play in Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul. Formerly called the OB Bears, they are owned by Doosan, a conglomerate primarily devoted to construction and heavy industry. Korean-American Hines Ward, a spokesman for biracial children in South Korea and 2006 Super Bowl MVP for the Pittsburgh Steelers, threw out the first pitch at a Bears game in 2006.
