History, Comments, Contributions[edit]
The 1995 St. Louis Cardinals were one of the few teams in baseball history to have no pitchers qualify for the ERA title. Also achieving this feat were the 1957 Athletics, the 1996 Athletics, the 1997 Athletics, and the 1998 Cardinals. Because one month of the season was lost to the 1994 strike, the Cardinals only played 143 games that year, but their top pitcher, Mark Petkovsek, led the team with 21 starts and 137 1/3 innings; no other pitcher logged as many as 115 innings for the team.
