The Utica Blue Sox were a member of the New York-Penn League. In 2002 the team moved to Aberdeen, MD to become the Aberdeen IronBirds. Another team also called the Utica Blue Sox currently play in the summer collegiate Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League.
