Biographical Information[edit]
IF Tony Pacheco played in the minor leagues from 1949 to 1956, only playing 10 games in AAA.
Pacheco was a scout for the Cincinnati Reds in 1957 and 1960 and Houston Astros in 1961-1965. He also managed in the minors in 1958-1959, 1966-1973, and 1975. He was a Cleveland Indians coach in 1974 and an Astros coach in 1976-1979 and 1982.
Pacheco also managed the Colombian national team that won the 1965 Amateur World Series and the Latin team which won the 1972 World Baseball Classic.
