Biographical Information[edit]
Ticara Geldenhuis has been on the Australian women's national team.
Debuting for the Aussies in the 2023-2024 Women's Baseball World Cup, she started in left and hit leadoff in their opener against Team USA. She was retired by Elise Berger her first time up. She singled off Meggie Meidlinger later on for her first hit. She had a 3-run game versus South Korea, including a two-run dinger off Song-hee Choi. She hit .286/.444/.500 with six runs and four RBI in four games, going 3-for-3 in steal attempts. She led her team in runs and tied for 5th in pool A (with Denae Benites, Samaria Benitez, Zoe Hicks and Remi Schaber), also tying for first in homers (1). She tied for 7th in total bases (7) and tied for 3rd in steals, one behind Wing-Hin Ng and Kelsie Whitmore. [1]
