Scott Carnahan

Biographical Information[edit]

Scott Carnahan was head coach of Linfield College from 1984-2007, going 562-377-2 and winning Northwest Conference Coach of the Year 11 times. After stepping down as head coach, he became assistant coach to Scott Brosius in 2008 (Brosius and Joe Paterson both played for Carnahan before going to the majors). When Brosius stepped down at the end of 2015, Carnahan retook the head coaching role.

He had been a football and baseball player at Linfield College then spent six years as head coach of Lower Columbia Community College. He was also active with USA Baseball, coaching for Team USA in the 1993 Intercontinental Cup and serving as business manager for Team USA in 1995-1996, including a trip to the 1996 Olympics.
