Biographical Information

Logan Thompson is the son of Robby Thompson and brother of Drew Thompson and Tyler Thompson (his twin).

Logan was picked by the Cleveland Indians in the 42nd round of the 2008 amateur draft, the same round as his twin brother. He opted for college. The Indians took him again, in the 33rd round of the 2010 amateur draft. The scout was Mike Soper. He made his pro debut with the AZL Indians, a teammate of Hunter Jones, another son of a major leaguer. Logan hit .227/.284/.273 in 25 games, fielding .885 at second base (his main position). He did not play in 2011.
