Biographical Information

Hunter Jones began his minor league career in 2010. His father Tracy Jones had played in the majors while uncle Terry Jones played in the minors.

The Cleveland Indians took him in the 11th round of the 2010 amateur draft. Jones went 8 for 42 with 5 walks and 5 steals in 11 games for the 2010 AZL Indians. He had 2 errors in 26 chances as an infielder. He improved to .257/.329/.311 with the same club in 2011, while moving to the outfield and fielding .972.
