Biographical Information

Infielder Junior Noboa was signed as a free agent for the Cleveland Indians by scouts Hector Acevedo and Luis Isaac on May 26, 1981.

Beginning in 2008, Noboa was the "Special Assistant to the GM/Director, Latin American Ops" for the Arizona Diamondbacks. He was promoted in 2012 to Vice President, Latin Operations. He had scouted for the Diamondbacks since 1995. He scouted Emilio Bonifacio, Luis Castillo, Wilkin Castillo, Jordan Norberto, Danny Richar, Leyson Septimo, Pedro Ciriaco, Esmerling Vasquez, Sammy De Los Santos, Ramon Castillo, Brandon Leytón, Karl Triana, Alfredo Marte, Geraldo Perdomo, Cesar Valdez and Yonata Ortega.

He coached for the Dominican Republic in the 2009 World Baseball Classic.
