He was with the same two clubs that year, appearing in 5 games for New Hampshire (1.65, 1 Sv) and spending the bulk of the year in Syracuse (6-7, 1 Sv, 3.85).
In 2007, Jamie had his fifth straight season at two levels, pitching for Syracuse primarily (2-2, 1 Sv, 4.15) but also making his big league debut. He had a rough Italian Baseball League debut, on April 11th, allowing 3 runs in 3 2/3 relief innings against Telemarket Rimini in a 6-0 loss. He finished the year 0-3 with 3 saves and a 4.36 ERA, walking 20 in 33 innings.
