Biographical Information[edit]

Tim Huff has been a minor league pitcher and a scout.

Huff was 1-1 with a 5.34 ERA in 15 games for the 1997 St. Catharines Blue Jays in his pro debut. He ended his playing career the next season, going 2-0 with a 3.81 ERA in 26 games for the Hagerstown Suns. Overall, he had a 3-1, 4.41 record in 41 appearances as a pro, with 30 walks, 100 hits and 50 strikeouts in 81 2/3 IP. In 1999, he began his scouting career, also with the Toronto Blue Jays. He was promoted to national crosschecker in 2003. In 2006, the Tampa Bay Devil Rays hired him as a national crosschecker. As an area scout, he signed Jamie Vermilyea.

His son, Kody Huff, was drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays in 2019.
