Biographical Information[edit]

Gabe MacDougall spent two seasons in the minors.

MacDougall hit .389/.489/.829 as a high school junior, with 21 homers, 65 runs and 65 RBI. He was one homer behind NCAA Division II leader Chad Jacobsen. He made All-Sunshine State Conference and joined Mike Elkerson, Chris Weimer and David Thomas as the Division II All-American outfielder. He helped Lynn to the 2009 Division II College World Series. The Kansas City Royals took him in the 27th round of the 2009 amateur draft. He was 6 for 29 with 6 walks and 2 doubles that summer for the Burlington Royals. Starting for Burlington in 2010, he hit only .201/.288/.307 with 21 runs and 15 RBI in 57 games. He fielded .974 in left field.
