Biographical Information

Chris Weimer played two seasons as a pro. He hit .430 with 11 homers in junior college and .414 with 15 dingers in 2008 at Nebraska-Omaha. He made All-American for NCAA Division II, joining David Thomas, Mike Elkerson and Gabe MacDougall in the outfield. Undrafted, he was signed by the Chicago Cubs. He hit .239/.357/.304 in 16 games for the 2009 AZL Cubs; he played all four infield slots and both corner outfield spots. In 2010, he was 3 for 13 with a double for the independent Evansville Otters to end his professional career.
