Fresno Giants

From BR Bullpen

The Fresno Giants operated for 30 years as a California League affiliate of the San Francisco Giants. They won a league title in 1958, their first year as a San Francisco farm team, and added championships in 1964, 1974, and 1987. After the 1987 season the team was sold, and the Giants ended their affiliation with the club. They became known as the Fresno Suns and played just one more season in the league before moving to Salinas in 1989.
