Biographical Information[edit]
First baseman Dutch Prather played in the minors from 1927 to 1951, winning two HR crowns and two RBI titles. Prather led the 1932 New York-Penn League with 104 RBI, the 1933 Southern Association with 23 HR, the 1936 Western League with 22 HR and 102 Runs, and the 1941 West Texas-New Mexico League with 142 RBI.
He was a player manager from 1947 to 1949 and 1951, and a manager in 1950 in the Sooner State League.
After retiring from playing, Prather umpired in the West Texas-New Mexico League (1953), Evangeline League (1955-1956), California League (1957), and Sooner State League (1957).
