Culiacán, Sinaloa

Culiacán is a city in northwestern Mexico and is the largest city and capital of the state of Sinaloa. It is 150 miles north-west of Mazatlan, Sinaloa and 120 miles south-east of Los Mochis, Sinaloa.
Culiacan hosted the Caribbean Series in 2001 and 2017. It is the site of a youth academy run by Major League Baseball in cooperation with the state government which opened in January 2017.
