Biographical Information[edit]
Christopher Jimenez was named best hitter in the 1999 Asian Baseball Cup as the Philippines won a spot in the 1999 Asian Championship. He was 1 for 6 for the Philippines in the 2001 Baseball World Cup, their first appearance in a Baseball World Cup. A backup at 2B and SS, he made 3 errors in 14 chances in the field. He was 1 for 2 in the 2002 Asian Games, backing up Christian Canlas at short. He won Gold in the 2005 Southeast Asian Games and was in the 2006 Asian Games. He had one at-bat in the 2007 Asian Championship, singling off Taiwan's Yu-Chieh Shen. He backed up Ruben Angeles at second base. He was then with the Philippines for a Silver Medal in the 2007 Southeast Asian Games.
