Biographical Information

Chih-Chung Yen had a brief career in the CPBL.

Yen was drafted by the La New Bears in the 8th round of the 2005 CPBL Draft, had he had a 4.76 ERA with 6 saves in the minors in 2006. He was 4-2 with a 3.42 ERA in the minors in 2007, then the Bears traded him with Yu-Liang Cheng and Po-Ching Chiang to the DMedia T-Rex for Chin-Chih Huang and Hsiang-Kai Shih. Yen was 2-2 with a 4.47 ERA in 2008, then he was banned for life for his involvement in a game-fixing scandal.

Yen's repertoire included a fastball (peak 88.8 mph), sinker, changeup, forkball and slider.
