Binghamton is located in southern New York State, at the confluence of the Susquehanna and Chenango Rivers, 5 miles north of the Pennsylvania border, and 60 miles south of Syracuse, NY. With the nearby towns of Johnson City, NY and Endicott, NY, it forms the "Triple Cities".
