Biographical Information[edit]
Babe Danzig played six games with the Boston Red Sox in 1909. Also in 1909 he hit .345 for Lowell.
After his major league stint he spent several years in the Pacific Coast League.
He was one of the earliest major leaguers (but not the earliest) given the nickname "Babe".
