All-Star Game[edit]

The league's third All-Star Game was played on July 14 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The Fort Wayne Daisies defeated the AAGPBL All-Stars in 11 innings by a score of 4-3. Jean Geissinger hit a towering solo homer in the 11th for the Daisies' walk-off victory.

Postseason[edit]

The playoffs featured the top four teams in the league. The teams competed in a best-of-three first round, with the first place team faced off against the third place team and the second place team played against the fourth place team. The winners then advanced to the best-of-five Shaughnessy Series.
