All-Star Game[edit]
The league's second All-Star Game was played on July 7 in South_Bend, Indiana. The AAGPBL All-Stars defeated the South Bend Blue Sox, 7-6. Doris Sams led the offensive attack for the All-Stars with three hits and three RBIs, including a two-run homer.
Postseason[edit]
The playoffs featured the top four teams in the league. The teams competed in a best-of-three first round, with the first place team faced off against the third place team and the second place team played against the fourth place team. The winners then advanced to the best-of-five Shaughnessy Series.
