Muskegon Belles
Ballpark Marsh Field
Championships: 0
Playoffs: 0
Franchise Player: Marilyn Jones
In 1953 the Battle Creek Belles of the AAGPBL moved to Muskegon, MI where they became the Muskegon Belles. This made Muskegon the only city in the history of the AAGPBL to host multiple teams as the Muskegon Lassies had played there from 1946-1950. The club remained the worst in the league, though, going 39-70 (25-59 when ace Marilyn Jones was not pitching). They folded after the year, leaving the AAGPBL with just five teams for its final season.
