History, Comments, Contributions[edit]

The 1935 Boston Braves had the lowest winning percentage of any National League team in the 20th century, "topping" even the 1962 New York Mets. The presence of over-the-hill future Hall of Famers Babe Ruth and Rabbit Maranville, both in their final seasons, was no help. They also lost the most road games (at 13-65) of any MLB team since 1900; the 2010 Pittsburgh Pirates almost broke the record at 17-64, playing a longer schedule.
