Biographical Information[edit]

Yuan-Hsu Hsin has played in the CPBL and for the Chinese Taipei national baseball team.

Hsin was drafted by the Fubon Guardians in the ninth round of the 2019 CPBL Draft and he spent his rookie season in the minor league. He hit .301/.348/.374 with the big club in 2020, then recorded a .267/.318/.407 batting line with 3 homers in 2021. He and Zen Chen completed the second back-to-back pinch-hit homers in CPBL history on August 9 the next season, and that's the first time that both homers were the first pinch-hit homer for both player. Hsin ended up hitting .275/.323/.373 with 4 homers in 2022.

The Tainan native was selected into the 2023 CPBL All-Star Games, and he pinch-hit for Tzu-Hao Lin in the 5th inning of Game 1. Hsin hit a RBI single against Hao-Chun Chiu in his first at-bat, then added a double against Tzu-Yu Lin in the 8th inning. He then went 2-for-3 with a double against Matthew Kent and a single off Yu-Hung Chen in Game 2. Hsin batted .228/.286/.275 in 2023. He represented Taiwan in the 2023 Asia Professional Baseball Championship after the season, but he went 0-for-3 as a pinch-hitter in 3 games. Taiwan beat Australia to win Bronze.
