Biographical Information[edit]
Yu-Hin Oscar Cheng has pitched for the Hong Kong national team.
Cheng represented Hong Kong in the 2023 Asian Championship, and he relieved Yui-Fong Wong when the bases were loaded in the 7th inning against South Korea. He allowed a 3-run double to Jeong-hun Seo, then he struck out Min-jun Lee and retired Hyeon-seung Jung to end this inning. He then forced Tae-ung Yu fly out, but he surrendered a double to Jun-young Jeong and Ching Connor Kwok succeeded him. Cheng then relieved Chun-Yin Alex Cheung in the 8th inning against Thailand, and he struck out Yotsaphol Artdee and Phuriphat Saeyang. However, Yodsaphan Sae Wa then reached due to second baseman Cheuk-Kiu Chan's error, and Joe Daru crushed a grand slam. Cheng plunked Yuthai Ryoto, and he finally let Jake Jie Ren Chaisongkram fly out to end his work. [1]
