Biographical Information[edit]
Weijun Luo was a catcher for the Chinese national team in the 1990 Asian Games, 1993 Asian Championship, 1994 Asian Games, 1995 Asian Championship, 1997 Asian Championship and 1998 Baseball World Cup (.263/.300/.368, .982 FLD%, half of China's four doubles; backed up by Min Ren). In 1997, the Taiwan Major League expressed interest in Luo and another Chinese player but a deal fell through.
Luo coached for the Beijing Tigers in the China Baseball League starting in 2003. He also coached for China in the 2003 Asian Championship, 2005 Asian Championship, 2006 Asian Games, 2013 East Asian Games and 2014 Asian Games.
