Biographical Information[edit]
Min Ren caught for China in the 1997 Asian Championship and 1998 Asian Games. In the 1998 Baseball World Cup, he was 1 for 13 while backing up Guogang Yang at DH. He went 2 for 10 with a walk in the 2002 World University Championship and threw out 2 for 4 attempted base-stealers. He is listed as the All-Tournament catcher for the event even though teammate Wei Wang put up much better numbers.
Ren was 1 for 19 with a double in the 2002 Intercontinental Cup, splitting catching duties with Wang. He played in the 2002 Asian Games and 2009 Asian Championship. In the China Baseball League, he has played for the Tianjin Lions.
