Biographical Information

Warren Hughes has been a scout.

Hughes played for the Australian national team in the 1982 Amateur World Series. He went to the US for college. Undrafted, he signed with the St. Louis Cardinals and was 2-2 with a 5.27 ERA in 11 games (5 starts) for the 1985 Johnson City Cardinals, with 27 strikeouts, 12 walks and 50 hits in 42 2/3 innings. He later was a Chicago White Sox scout, signing Tim Anderson, Tim Elko, Michael Johnson, Ray Liotta, Jared Mitchell, Konnor Pilkington and Ehren Wassermann.
