Biographical Information[edit]

Vladislav Ilin has pitched for the Russian national team.

He debuted with Russia in the 2021 European Championship, getting into one game, versus Ukraine. Relieving Alex Lukashevich in the 5th with a 12-1 lead, he allowed a double to Dmytro Limarenko and a single to Illia Velykyi as Ukraine doubled their run total. Kostiantyn Boiko flew out and Oleksii Boiko struck out, but Yevhenii Tkachenko doubled in a run; the veteran was out trying to stretch it to a three-bagger. In the 6th, he retired Vladyslav Kosenko and Kostiantyn Chukhas but then went wild, walking Denys Brechko, Heorhii Hvrytishvili and Limarenko. Velykyi hit into a two-run error to cut it to 12-5, then Ilin walked Kostiantyn Boiko before Yurii Shvets flew out. Anton Trusov relieved in the 7th. Only former Twins farmhand Vadim Balan had a higher ERA for Russia. [1]
