The Villa Clara team is a member of the Cuban Serie Nacional. Located in Santa Clara, Villa Clara, the team has won five Serie Nacional titles. When Cuba returned to the Caribbean Series in 2014, Villa Clara became the first Cuban team in a Caribbean Series since Cienfuegos in 1960. Prominent players have included Víctor Mesa, Ariel Pestano, Eduardo Paret and Livan Hernandez.

Team nicknames include Naranjas (Orange), Azucareros (Sugar Makers) and Leopardos (Leopards).
