Talk:Tom Bannon
The 1951 Guides calls him the "...last of ten brothers who starred in game...". 10?--Jeff 17:23, 6 November 2009 (EST)
BR Minors lists 7 bannons active around that time. - --Mischa 09:59, 8 November 2009 (EST)
This link lists Tom Bannon as being one of the managers for the 1904 Schenectady Electricians/Scranton Miners. But, the Scranton Miners page lists William Bannon as being the manager, not Tom. Anyone know what is correct? Alex 23:51, 20 November 2009 (EST)
BR minors is the SABR database. The SABR database was very innaccurate regarding the managers. Since William was playing for the team, I would assume he was the manager, not Tom. --Jeff 00:29, 21 November 2009 (EST)
Why was the image on here deleted in 2020? I'm not sure what it looks like but it just says the file was deleted and I was only able to find the BR pic as a depiction of him and tnfoto doesn't have him as a missing player on the needed photos list. 𝕮𝖔𝖉𝖞 (talk) 16:27, 22 January 2025 (UTC)
- The note next to the deletion said the image was actually Jimmy Bannon, not Tom. If you can find a picture of Tom, go ahead and add it. Philippe (talk) 16:38, 22 January 2025 (UTC)
Hm, the note didn't appear for me, but I will speak with tnfoto about it and see if he has anything, he's usually good with identifying this sort of stuff. 𝕮𝖔𝖉𝖞 (talk) 16:44, 22 January 2025 (UTC)
