Biographical Information[edit]
Sarah Edwards has played for the USA women's national team.
Edwards was first-team All-Conference in softball in college. [1] She represented Italy in softball in the 2022 World Games [2], then she was the hitting coach for the FCL Phillies in 2023. [3]
She played for the USA in the 2023-2024 Women's Baseball World Cup. Debuting in a rout of South Korea, she pinch-hit for Anna Kimbrell and doubled off Yu-jin Lee to drive in Remi Schaber; Valerie Perez singled her in. She finished the game at 1B. In a romp past Hong Kong, she pinch-hit for Schaber and struck out against Debby Su-Yee Mak but later walked. The US won Silver but she was not with them for the 2024 portion where they took the medal. [4] She also coached in the Okinawa Winter League in 2024. [5] The CTBC Brothers named her their new batting coach in 2025, and she was the first female coach in Asia professional baseball. [6]
