Biographical Information[edit]
Robbie Moen has been a minor league player, a college coach and a scout.
Moen hit .402 for the University of Arizona in 1991. He finished his collegiate career second in school history in doubles (63) and 5th in RBI (185). He hit .286/.345/.374 as the fourth outfielder for the 1993 Elmira Pioneers. In 1994, he was 0 for 10 with a walk, a run and RBI. In 1996, he batted .242/.336/.290 for the 1996 Dakota Rattlers. In 1997, he was 0 for 7 for the West Manitoba Wranglers. He finished his pro career with a batting line of .252/.332/.317 in 111 games.
Moen was assistant coach for Arizona, Kansas State University (1997-2000) and Loyola Marymount University (2001-2005). He then became a Tampa Bay Devil Rays scout. He signed Robi Estrada, Steven Tinoco and Jake Thompson.
