Dakota Rattlers
The Dakota Rattlers (based in Bismarck, ND) were charter members of the Prairie League in 1994. Under managers Rich Bristow and Bill Sharp, the team went 30-42 and drew 28,042 fans (7th in the 8-team league in attendance, fifth in record). The sole All-Star was DH Boo Moore (.348, .603 slugging).
Dakota went 33-44 in their second season and their attendance of 25,702 was near the middle of the pack. Sharp managed the club, which had no All-Stars. David Prosser (8-9, 3.59) led in ERA while Ray Moon (.348, 20 SB) posted the top average.
