Biographical Information[edit]
Catcher Rex Carr played in the minor leagues from 1937 to 1953, missing the 1943-1945 seasons. He also made one appearance while managing in 1964. He topped out in the Texas League in parts of 1939 and 1940.
Carr later scouted for the Milwaukee Braves (1954-1958), San Francisco Giants (1962-1964), New York Mets (1965), California Angels (1966-1974), and Los Angeles Dodgers (1980).
