Team History[edit]

In 1953 the Cotton States League tried to evict the Hot Springs Bathers for attempting to include two black players, brothers Jim Tugerson and Leander Tugerson. Minor league baseball officials stepped in to fight for justice and deny the CSL its racist intentions.
