From BR Bullpen

The Philippines women's national baseball team is a national team of the Philippines and is controlled by the Philippine Amateur Baseball Association. It represents the nation in women's international competition. The team is a member of WBSC Asia.

They debuted in the 2019 Women's Baseball Asian Cup, going 4-2 with opening wins over more established teams from South Korea and Hong Kong, then topping China in the Bronze Medal Game; their only losses came to Japan and Taiwan, Asia's top two teams in women's baseball. Ghene Camral was the All-Star third baseman. The team won a spot in the 2020 Women's Baseball World Cup but that event was delayed then canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They thus had to requalify when they played in the 2023 Women's Baseball Asian Cup. They failed to do so, going 3-2 to finish 5th. Helga Campos hit .429/.550/.429 with 7 runs and pitching was provided by Mery Ann Ramos (1-0, 1.62), Mary Nichole Padasas (1-0, 2.10) and Jojielyn Lim (1-1, 2.10).
