Biographical Information[edit]
Norbert Goór has played for the Hungarian national team in three decades.
In the 2008 European Championship Qualifier, he was 0 for 2 with a walk in a game against Romania. [1] He hit .231/.412/.308 with 3 RBI in 4 games as Hungary's starting left fielder in the 2014 C-Level European Championship. [2] He batted .200/.273/.200 in the same role in the 2016 C-Level European Championship. [3]
The veteran (only Tibor Bagyinszki was older on the team) got into two games in the 2023 European Championship, Hungary's first European Championship. He pinch-hit for András Csalló in a loss to Italy and struck out against Mattia Aldegheri, then stayed in at 1B. He also grounded out facing Nick Davis. Against Austria, he drew a walk from Lukas Inmann after replacing Csalló. [4]
